Simi Biography: Age, Net Worth, Actual Boyfriend, Family And Everything You Need To Know

Simi is one great singer that has not only put smiles on the faces of people with her songs, but has also broken some necks with her beauty. Her love for music did not just start due to hustle; rather it has been a burning passion inside her right from when she was a child. There is a whole lot to know about her apart from just being on stage and TV screens which this article is aimed at bringing out.

She was born as Simisola Bolatito Ogunleye on the 19th of April, 1988 (Age 30) in Surulere (Ojueleba), Lagos State, Nigeria. She grew up as a church choir where she worshipped, which gave her the opportunity to write her first ever song at the age of 9. Although her professional career did not begin immediately, it started when she was 20 years old (2008) after her graduation from the University, she released a gospel album titled “Ogaju”, which was produced by Samklef and got her to be signed by the record label X3M music.
Out of the 4 children of her parent, she is the last, but her mother was divorced for two decades which left an impression on her that life cannot always be a bed of roses and which also made her very diligent in her business. She started and completed her secondary education at Star Int’l College in Ikorodu, Lagos State, after which she got admitted into Covenant University to study Mass Communication and got her Bsc. But while in Covenant University, she was a member of the choir group which also showcased her talent to the students as at that time.

There had been confusion in the past about who she is actually dating, some claimed she was dating the popular singer, Falz the bad guy, because they are very close and released a full album together. But in an interview with her, she cleared the air that she was not dating Falz, claiming they are just friend and went ahead to tell the kind of man she is dating, saying he is matured and understands her well enough, including her romantic link with other artiste when working on music projects together.
Rumors had been out several times on her relationship with Adekunle Gold, and pictures also proved those rumors, but neither of them actually came out in the open to say who really they are dating. Simi gave her own part on the kind of man she is dating; Adekunle Gold too gave his own part, saying she does not want her identity to be revealed to the public, but he described her as someone he couldn’t do without, and further said how much she meant to him, but that part of his life is a secret and when the time is right, he will reveal his girlfriend to the public.
If they rumors about her dating Adekunle Gold are true, we hope they tie the knot and keep releasing great music pleasing to the ears.

According to Austin media, Simi’s net worth is estimated to be about $500 thousand (N150 million), but the public has not seen her living an extravagant lifestyle. News report is that she still drives her rumored boyfriend’s (Adekunle Gold) car, which is a Black Toyota Camry, 2011 model which costs about N3 million.

Her mother Jedidiah Ogunleye divorced her actual father 21 years ago (1997), due to some marital issues unknown to the public, so the mother was left with the responsibility of taking care of the four children. According to Simi, she and her siblings go then during the weekends to visit their father but that was reduced after some time. But in the year 2014, he died and this year (2018), Simi’s mother got married. She was the Bride’s maid at the wedding which held at Daystar Church, in Oregun, Lagos State.
According to her mother, every year, her goal was to get married, because being an usher in church, she usually ushered couples to their seat and she always love the sight of couples together. There was a time when Simi told her that she may never find a man in the church she attends because it is majorly for youths and young people, but the mother was positive about finding her man and trusted in God and she did.
