Everything You Need To Know When Applying To A Bank For Job

- Authored By Wunmi Abosede

So I was opportune to go through the recruitment process of Zenith Bank PLC last year into this year...

Though I couldn't get in but I got another offer

So, I think it will be good I relay how it all went for other people who may be interested in starting up a career with Zenith Bank

Zenith Bank Plc conduct their recruitment exercise regionally; Lagos and Abuja.
Their HQ in Lagos recruits for West, East and sometimes South while Abuja recruits for the North.

So be careful of the address your CV carries
To apply to Zenith Bank, their website houses the portal for such. Make your application on their website, they harvest the CVs submitted at intervals and whenever the need arises. Though currently they are not receiving any probably due to the pandemic on ground.😔😔😔
NOTE: To fast track your invitation for the aptitude test, your CV can be submitted by a staff of the bank who can also assist in follow up.

Someone submitted on my behalf and I also applied online.
The first stage of the recruitment process is the APTITUDE TEST.

The aptitude test was normal English and Maths...Just be familiar with the GMAT.

I was in Kano when I did this, had to travel to Abuja...Showing you it all happens in Lagos and abuja
I also submitted in one of their branches myself...You see I meant business

So, you can walk into any of their branches to submit your CV, dont also forget to apply online

Second, the INTERVIEW which is in three phases.
At the last stage, you'll be meeting a *key* person in the bank who has the final say of either to employ you or not. I met the Deputy Managing Director in Abuja; it was not funny sha.
I think that was where I didn't do too well...

You have less than a minute to impress her...it was ‘gbas gbos’ kind of a thing...

So you need to be fully prepared if you make it to this stage....
After you are successful with your interview, you'll be called on for documentation.

The process took about three months...so you need patience
Finally, Zenith Bank Plc does not run any Graduate Trainee Program. Anyone employed as an entry level staff is on a contract for two years which may be renewed or be made permanent base meeting necessary measures expected by the KPI (Key Performance Indicators)

Let's all know that it's actually a bit easy...You just have to be prepared for each stages.

Good things are in store for you, do not worry.
I love you.

I hope this information help someone.

Question and Answer
But do Zenith Bank. Employ anyone irrespective of what he studied?

Example... Someone who read Mathematics, Engineering, CS, can also apply, and is there a tendency of HND holder being employed?
Answer
Yes...They employ people from every line...Hmmmmmm

I didn't meet anybody who had HND during the recruitment process but that doesn't mean you shouldn't apply...
You loose nothing applying for some jobs...
You lose just *nothing*‼‼

Answer 2
Well, Zenith doesn't employ HND holders for their entry level
